Review of Eagle vs Shark (2007) by Mats V — 18 Jan 2009
We loved the character of Lily - too bad the actress hasn't been in much else as we'd like to see her in more movies. Perhaps Eagle v. Shark will be that opportunity for her career. Yes, the comparison to Napoleon Dynamite is hard to avoid, but this film takes the socially awkward characters from Napoleon Dynamite ahead 10 years to wrestle with festering emotional issues.
The animated segments were also very sweet & creative.
