Review of Eagle vs Shark (2007) by Shera S — 09 Sep 2009

I loved the immaturity of the characters - the lengths they'd go to & how geeky their characters were - endearing.

There were moments I found a little too slow, however it was nice to see a film where relatively serious issues - drama (ie: bullying, revenge, acceptance and social awkwardness) are handled somewhat lightly & comicaly. Jermaine Clement's deadpan demeanour always makes me chuckle - Hey, it wasn't brillaint, but it was sweet.

Perhaps I ought to see Napoleon Dynamite??/??
