Review of Eagle vs Shark (2007) by Lauri L — 25 Dec 2009
This movie plays mainly on one card about failing to fill up social expectations and still form relationships. The characters rein in quite the same ankward territory as for instance "Little Miss Sunshine" or "Napoloen Dynamite".
The insecurities and desparate attempts to earn expectance that seem ridiculous ring true. The movie ends up in weird place where it is all bit much but then again it's brilliantly acted all the way and there is enough brilliant moments all the way to reward viewer.
Recommended with some caution.
