Review of Eagle Eye (2008) by Lauren D — 13 Feb 2011

So, I enjoyed it. I didn't think I would as new movies suck, but it was fun. It was very unrealistic, but who cares? There's good unrealistic and bad unrealistic (ie Indy 4), and this was good. It doesn't shout in your face "Hey! Look, we're doing impossible stuff!" which they pretty much did every 5 seconds in Indy 4.

Anyway, I didn't like the ending because it was too Hollywood and the computer taking over idea has been used enough, but other that it was enjoyable. The action scenes were good and the movie was fairly intense, which I don't usually find. Some people compare this to I, Robot and North by Northwest and that it's just a rip off, well, maybe so, but they both sucked and I liked this so sometimes rip off's can work.
