Review of Eagle Eye (2008) by Cody M — 09 Apr 2011
Slick but absurd thriller in which an under-achieving twin (whose military man brother has recently been killed) and a solo mother are forced to participate in a Rube Goldberg styled conspiracy by a mysterious omniscient voice that controls all technology in America.
The actors does their best to deal with the convoluted script that is more interested in the next set piece than character development, though director DJ Caruso does his best to keep things moving so fast the audience doesn't have time to think.
