The thing about Eagle Eye is that it never f**king slows down: it has a completely stupid plot and takes itself way too seriously on the backdrop of stealing various themes and plot detailing from other better movies, but I wouldn't mind all that if the film slowed down every once in a while, it's always on the go.
If it sat down and studied it's own rulebook a couple of times, I wouldn't be laughing my ass off when some guy says this line even though he never had a clear indication as to what the time was: "Get ready.
You have three minutes." How the hell does he know this character has three minutes exactly? Well, he is given his orders by a machine. If the film established that this was a legit threat instead of a fast paced action movie villain, I wouldn't have been on the floor laughing as opposed to saying: "oh sh*t, technology may actually conquer us one day.
".
