Review of Eagle Eye (2008) by Jake H — 26 Jul 2014
The fist time I watched this movie, I really didn't think that much of it. Sure, there were a few touching and cool moments, but the story flew by so fast that it really didn't give me that much time to ponder what was actually happening.
As a result, I was left thoroughly confused by the time the credits started rolling. Upon a second viewing, however, I found myself enjoying the movie a lot more, even if there were some pretty big plot holes.
The chemistry between the leads was good, some of the action scenes were actually pretty intense, and the soundtrack was great, hitting all the emotional cues at the right moments. Things really heat up towards the end.
I won't spoil it for you, but it's a pretty damn nail biting climax. If you can suspend logic while watching a movie, then you'll have a good time with Eagle Eye.
