Review of Each Dawn I Die (1939) by Barry A — 13 Feb 2012
Another great Cagney role in a "good", not "great" movie. His character development is the best thing about this movie. This a pretty standard "I got framed. Went bad. Got redemption" movie.
But I still enjoy watching it, mostly because I like a lot of movies from this era. If you're in the mood for this type of movie grab some popcorn, sit back, and enjoy. You may have trouble finding this movie.
Once in a blue moon it's on TCM.
