Review of Dylan Dog: Dead of Night (2011) by Thomas S — 03 Aug 2011
Saw it on DVD. The trailer looked promising but then again some promises are meant to be broken.
Bad narratives complemented by dull tones of Brandon's voice made me wanna scream "would you just shut up already!". The special effects were out of an late 90's horror flick but I guess with a limited budget you get limited talent.
The only real comic entertainment is Dylan's dead sidekick "Marcus" who provided ample chuckles by his mimicks alone.
This is one flick (if nobody gave away spoilers) that you would press on to continue watching in hopes for a change for the better, but after going through 107 minutes of hoping, you finally realize that walking your dog would've been a more thrilling entertainment in the first place.
Sorry guys, can't quite recommend it to anyone at this stage.
