Stormare is great, as always. A noir about vampires, werewolves and zombies is a great idea, but clean-cut, boyish Superman is hardly the proper leading man. Throw in a low-budget and an annoying sidekick, you got serious problems.
The original Groucho sidekick probably would have been much better. There's quite a back and forth between True Blood and Dylan. How much did Southern Vampire Mysteries takes from the Italian? How much was of the movie was taken from the source material? Why did they move from London to New Orleans? Made for TV movie that is worth skipping.
