Review of Dylan Dog: Dead of Night (2011) by Brittany R — 16 Aug 2011
I'm living in a world where I base all my monster lore off of True Blood, Buffy, and Angel, and seriously this wasn't that far off from those. While it wasn't as successful as the aforementioned shows, it wasn't as bad as everyone keeps saying, at least not to me.
True, I would've rather seen this translated through an hour long episode of Angel, but I still thought Routh was charming enough. Plus I have had a soft spot for Sam Huntington ever since Detroit Rock City and found him, as the comic relief, just great.
Not sure if the movie was a flawed translation of the comics or if the comics were on their own flawed to begin with. Still, wasn't a waste of my time really.
