Review of Dylan Dog: Dead of Night (2011) by Michael O — 18 Oct 2011
Somebody give Brandon Routh a real chance QUICK! I loved him as Superman & he has a rare charm that most actors don't possess today. He is unique & a great actor as well. Unfortunately "Dylan Dog" stumbles in a massive way.
It has potential, but the writers have opted not to round out their story with original material. Rather they borrow from every successful genre possible from "True Blood" to "Night of the Living Dead" to "From Dusk Til Dawn".
The characters, including Routh's Dylan, are not likeable and you find nobody to root for in this dreary mash-up. Again, somebody get Routh an agent who can get him parts he deserves!
