Review of Dying to Belong (1997) by Jonathan W — 17 Apr 2008
A pre-Oscar Hilary Swank is found trudging her way through this generic Lifetime tv movie. "Dying to Belong" is a lifeless thriller, with little to motivate itself than a few timely conincidences and a somewhat poorly written script.
The film's most laughable moment comes when the "leading man" appears and you discover that it is Mark-Paul Gosselaar, the kid from "Saved by the Bell", trying so very hard to be serious and looking like the biggest douchebag while doing it.
