Review of Dying of the Light (2014) by Lowbrowcinema — 14 Dec 2014
After the absolutely brilliant THE CANYONS, which I could watch daily and basically have, Paul Schrader returns to writing/directing with DYING OF THE LIGHT starring Nicolas Cage. Sadly, DYING is no CANYONS.
It's basically an incoherent mess with a very intriguing premise that is never developed and actually forgotten very early on. The less said the better when it comes to DYING OF LIGHT and frankly, I'm not sure what this was about.
