Review of Dutch (1991) by Ethan T — 05 Sep 2012
Wow, this movie deserves more credit. Ed O'Neill stars as Dutch, the main protagonist, and he wants to get to know his girlfriends son, Doyle, played by Ethan Radndall, and he goes to pick him up from his prep school, but then he notices the kid's a brat.
And I almost NEVER say that, because I'm 11, so people could call me that, but this kid is rude, is a little of a snob, is stuck up, shoots Dutch with a pellet gun and, as Dutch says, 'Mashed my testes!' And Dutch decides to tie him to his hockey stick, put him in his car, (Which he lets Doyle up, but only because he fights it) and drives back ALL the way from his prep school in Georgia, to Chicago for Thanksgiving with his mother and him.
And they run into a family, they have a hilarious fireworks show, they have to drive to a gas station awkwardly with hookers, (Nothing happens, so kids can watch) and travel back to Chicago, now I'm gonna make this review short, by saying, great movie, hilarious, and strangely shows you family.
...... Sort of.... Either way, it's a good time, check it out!
