Review of Duplicity (2009) by Dave F — 09 Jan 2010
On balance, this is an entertaining film worth your time. It definitely has its flaws, however, starting with the fact that Giamatti and Wilkinson were considerably better than Owens and Roberts. In fact, the film undoubtedly would have been better if G & W had more prominent roles.
The plot was cumbersome and hard to follow at times - a few unnecessary twists and turns. Finally, I'm afraid Roberts is past these kind of roles; time for younger folks to take over.
