Claire (Julia Roberts) and Ray (Clive Owen) meet in Dubai, and unknown to each other, they work for different intelligence agencies. Claire left Ray for dead in Dubai, taking some important paperwork before she left, and now it seems that they are contact agents due to meet at Grand Central some 5 years later.
They have both been planted as security intelligence at rival corporations for a number of years to get specific information, but Ray and Claire have their own ideas.
