Review of Duplicity (2009) by Alan B — 02 Feb 2010
Confusing to the nth degree. If you like twists--(c), M. Night Shyamalan-- then you'll really enjoy this movie. If you want intrigue about realistic corporate espionage, this won't be something you'll enjoy.
Whether it's this movie ripping off "24"-like scene bumpers, "CSI"-like information decoding, or the general insanity that was "Smoking Aces", there's practically nothing to enjoy that's original to this movie.
Couple that with the fact that Clive Owen and Julia Roberts have little to no chemistry together and you have a good-looking movie that I wouldn't recommend to anyone.
