Review of Duplicity (2009) by Brenton A — 04 Apr 2010
The narrative is so absurdly convoluted that there must be holes somewhere in that twisted labyrinth of deception, but it's simply not worth the effort to poke holes in a meaningless, unsatisfying story.
There are a few nice moments of characterization and some quirky, fun directorial choices that are just enough to sustain the viewer's attention through what is otherwise a narrative mess that is completely devoid of tension and fails to engross the audience.
