Review of Duplex (2003) by Jim F — 26 Dec 2012
When I bought a new flat, I had a lovely quiet old lady below me. But then she moved out and a young family of Nigerians moved in downstairs banging doors all day. At the same time, the pleasant couple upstairs rented their apartment to 2 middle aged piss heads who would return from the pub every night, turn on the telly, and then fall asleep leaving it on all night long.
It was very stressful for me, and is in no way similar to what happens in this movie. Ben Stiller does his disgruntled doormatt rountine like that of Gaylord Focker. It was a nice story and was no way surprised to find it was directed by Danny DeVito.
