I have to come clean on this one: I once found myself watching this movie every night for a good month, so I guess you can say this is a comfortable little comedy for me. At first the film came off a bit dry but than after purchasing it on dvd I realized how golden this Devito film is. The movie's real power comes from golden girl Eileen Essell's performance as a sneaky manipulative upstairs tenant. Trust me, if you want to appreciate this movie than you may have to watch it again*.
