Review of Duplex (2003) by Aj T — 25 Mar 2009
A couple move into a Duplex, they know they had a tenant, but they didn't know she was an evil old granny who would end up making their life miserable.
And the granny was REALLY evil. Well played by Eileen Essell, you will hate her as much as they do, and this couple resorts to murder.
Ben Stiller and Drew Barrymore don't give the best performances they could.
Its amazingly shocking, not so much funny for me, but really shocking. Definitely not realistic, but its not trying to be, just a good hour and a half of fun.
Duplex has a straighforward simple premise, one hell of a ride.
