Review of Duplex (2003) by David J — 27 Oct 2009

Quite suprisingly this isnt as bad as it sounds or what the critics made of it on its release. Its Ben Stiller being his usual self and ditto Drew Barrymore. After their move into their new apartment they realise they have the tennant from hell in Irish oldie Eileen Essell (who steals the show).

After a series of mishaps, some funny and some that miss the mark, involving the irritating pensioner the couple resort to murder by means of setting up accidents and calling in hitmen. All of which ending in cartoon style violence.

Its a hit and miss movie but is an enjoyable 90 minutes none the less with a twisty ending to boot!
