I remember watching this back in 2003 and after 15 years again in 2018. Was reasonably funny, it had its moments. The elderly English actress who played Mrs Connelly had trouble drifting in and out of the Irish accent.
Ben Stiller as deadpan faced as ever and Drew Barrymore is such a sweetheart even in a dark comedy such as this. Lots of the neighbour problems are a bit cliche but it all works well..May not be vintage Stiller but still very watchable.
The elderly lady (Eileen Essell) has since died at the age of 92 back in 2015 .
