Review of Dunkirk (2017) by Arthur R — 12 Dec 2017
Sometimes difficult, sometimes beautiful and very deliberately paced, Dunkirk doesn't make for the most easy viewing, but its immensely rewarding in the end. Emotionally driven by the images as opposed to dialogue, and covering and a lot of ground in its themes. Tom Hardy is brilliant as fighter pilot Farrier. In a genre loaded with incredible films, Nolan has added another to the upper echelon of that list.
"Blind Man: Well done lads. Well done.
Alex: All we did is survive.
Blind Man: That's enough.".
