Review of Dunkirk (2017) by Emma V — 12 Mar 2018
I've never been a huge fan of Christopher Nolan, but there's no denying that Dunkirk is a beautifully made film. I love a director willing to use film, especially in such an intense setting as this.
Technically, it's one of the best films I've seen. But story-wise, I struggled to stay committed during the first half of the film, with the second half being amazing. Sadly once I pointed out Harry Styles to my husband he just wouldn't let it go, and that spoiled the experience a bit.
