Although somewhat realistic, some depictions just seem absurd. Who in their right mind would line up 400,000 men on a beach, waiting for a ship thats not even in sight all-the-while taking fire and bombs from enemy aircraft??? Absolutely rediculous. The military man on the yacht, woulda kicked him off immediately!! And you would think the Brits woulda fought back at least once....nope!!
The movie spends the whole time on 3 stories: the boy trying to leave the beach, 3 british pilots, and some hero on a yacht. I dont think the music ever stops in this movie.
I give it 2 stars and thats only because this is a true story. If not for that, I would say its absolute trash.
