Review of Dunkirk (2017) by Timm S — 26 Apr 2018
Does Not Let Up From One Action Sequence To The Next. It Makes Me Proud, Sad & Full Of A Deep Anguish As I Watched This. I Have A Close Family Connection To This Particular Section Of The War & From Scene To Scene It Highlights How Incredibly Bad This Battle Was.
Yes There Was Heroics, Glory, Grandiose Speeches & Tones...But There Also Was Death. These Men Stared Death In The Face Whilst Looking Upon There Homeland As Bullets, Bombs & Absolute Terror Rained Down Upon Them.
Lest We Ever, Ever Forget The Price They Paid For Our Freedoms & Liberty. Every Time I Surf In The Sunshine...It Is A Gift. Great Movie, But Such A Terrible, Terrible Price Our Forefathers Paid.
