Pros:
- Top notch cinematography and special effects.
- Excellent score by Zimmer. - Does not bear the 'Nolan' mark of sophomoric dialogue. Cons: - Lacking character personality (or even names for that matter) - Unrealistic depiction ofPros:

Cons:
- Lacking character personality (or even names for that matter).
- Unrealistic depiction of battle (no gore).
- Messy narrative with characters that go nowhere.
- Somehow manages to become boring and repetitive. - Too contained. Never feels like 400,000 men died. This seemed more like 40.
- Does not teach us anything new about the historic event.
Extremely over-hyped by critics. A solid film, just not one that I would strongly recommend.
