Review of Dunkirk (2017) by Corinthians — 20 Jul 2017
Dunkirk is many things: it's a technical masterpiece--cinematography, sound, and its clock-ticking score; it's an intense thrill ride that feels like it is never going to stop; it's a brilliant innovation in regards to the way it tells its story; and it's a heart-wrenching journey into the psyches of the countless troops who are trapped in war and just want to go home.
Any movie would be considered great if its director did one of these things, and Nolan does them all. It's a film that requires you to think in order that you can feel.
