Review of Dunkirk (2017) by Petros T — 05 Sep 2017
With real locations, a cast of mostly new faces and excellent photography, editing, sound and music, "Dunkirk" is a very immersive experience that offers first seat to witness the military failure, human tragedy and dramatic evacuation that happened there.
Nolan has a total grasp of the real-life material and transforms it into an enthralling, poignant, perfectly crafted film, full of both big and small moments of brilliance. Another masterclass by one of our century's best auteurs then.
