Review of Dunkirk (2017) by Farah R — 26 Oct 2018
With all the hype and critical acclaim, I expected a lot more from Christopher Nolan's praised war drama. Dunkirk dramatizes the horror and heroism of war through bold and powerful filmmaking bringing to the screen a fact-based story with a very cinematic appeal.
However, despite my best efforts, the film couldn't keep me invested and I found myself constantly spacing out. As a movie lover though, I appreciated the cinematography and beautiful score.
