Great visuals! Dunkirk is a beautiful film to look at, but the movie falls flat. There is no character development. It is a mashup of Pearl Harbor & Saving Private Ryan only without the emotion. It made the 106 minute run time feel like an eternity.
Christopher Nolan had some all-star talent such as Tom Hardy and Cillian Murphy but unfortunately didn't give them much dialog to work with.
