Review of Dunkirk (2017) by Skyler S — 13 Aug 2017
Dunkirk offered an interesting and personal war story with great effects and acting, but beyond that, I had felt nothing. The casting was poor and I got lost with which average white boy with shaggy brunette hair was which.
It could have been the theatre I was watching the movie, but the audio seemed..... off. 3/5 because I'll conform to critics saying Christopher Nolan films are automatically better, but that being said I did not see how this was special compared to other war movies.
