Review of Dunkirk (2017) by Miriam P — 11 Aug 2017
Just saw Dunkirk on 70mm and loved it, Nolan has done it again. The editing is perfect, the different timelines were never confusing to me and the lack of CGI makes for a real life experience. You have to watch Dunkir with the expectation to see a special cineastic experience and not the usual extensiv storytelling and you'll be fine.
The lack of dialog was not negative at all for me. I rather liked how the film was sometimes almost silent. Hope to see more films like this.
