Excellent film - if you already have some background knowledge. I thoroughly enjoyed it, but I can understand the negative reviews. The editing is sublime (or confusing if you missed the 3 subtitles at the start), the script does everything needed of it (obviously the writer wasn't paid per word), and it is a survival story with a lot of war thrown in.
