Simply a masterpiece. I would recommend looking up the general details surrounding the Battle/Evacuation at Dunkirk- some people in my theater didn't know this was true story.
The historical accuracy is almost flawless, with boats such as the British "mini-yacht" Cillian Murphy gets rescued upon is from the actual evacuation at Dunkirk, built in 1930.
Worth seeing, regardless if you don't like "war movies". Amazing score by Hans Zimmer, visuals are stunning, I can't say enough.
This is a tense thrill-ride, beginning to end. 10/10.
