There was too much hype for this movie. Not a great war movie to say the least. I was disappointed that it didn't have good action and not very realistic either (don't want to go into details).

I was actually bored and fell asleep during the movie for the first time in my life. The air to air combat was a little realistic but not well directed, and that was even on the boring side and very predictable.

Pretty average movie overall and mostly predictable with very few surprises. There was also no Germans shot, no scenes of fighting, hardly any shooting. Basically all you see is the British getting bombed.

Definitely not a 4-5 star movie. 3 at best. It is far from Saving Private Ryan and good movies of that type. Even my wife found a little boring and repetitive. I don't know what makes people give it 4+ stars.

This movie was maybe just slightly above average but mostly average. I 'd wait until it's out on cable if I were you.
