One of the most tense films I've ever watched. It left me utterly breathless. Showed me a picture of war that no other film will do. No characters developed, none were needed. You see people suffer the peril of war throughout this event and you want them to get out of it.
This is Nolan's masterpiece. One of the best films this century.
