Review of Dunkirk (2017) by Carl C — 23 Jul 2017

I saw this movie last night in Imax. The director made the visual shots extremely interesting. The story was historically correct but at time was hard to follow as they jumped back from character to character who in many examples were in different space and time as the scene before.

Therefore, the movie was somewhat hard to follow. Sometimes these 'artistic' directors seem to lose the forest while in the trees.... The acting was very good. Overall an average movie, probably not one I would recommend.

....like most movies today, more hype than substance...
