Review of Dunkirk (2017) by Mark G — 20 Jul 2017

I thought this movie would be better than it was. I almost fell asleep through it. I did like the aerial combat some, but even that got kinda boring after awhile. It's the same thing over and over.

Shoot a phone down. A ship gets bombed. Shoot a plane down a ship gets bombed. They could've made it realistic as well. Didn't see the numbers on the beach, and there were only a couple of ships rescuing them.

That should have been an emotional scene, but I just didn't feel it. It's definitely not a Saving Private Ryan kind of movie...
