I really think this movie has the potential to create a series and the more people buy into it the better these can be. MCU and future DCU aside, DnD is something that isn't for everyone. friendships get tested in hours long campaigns and this movie is a nice break from the improve tabletop game with plenty of laughs and lets get it done and they did it.
It's kinda like hanging with your friends and having all the inside jokes out in the open.
