This movie is phenomenal for D&D fans, movie fans, comedy fans, kids, adventure fans, fantasy fans, and honestly, anyone that just likes fun. It is a strong fantasy adventure film with developed characters and a heist plot.
While there are lots of nods for D&D fans, the movie is not dependent on D&D lore or knowledge. I went in with high hopes and was actually stunned at how good it was.
