The work honors the feel of D&D without rolling a die. There are certainly moments you could point to where the person rolled a NAT 1 or NAT 20 without them breaking the 4th wall and saying such. There's great humor, characters, and fun.
Even non-fans or casuals of the game could enjoy the film without being privy to some of the more inside baseball. If you have an inkling to see it, please support the movie in theaters so more great works like this can be made.
