With a wealth of source material to draw from this could have been a great fantasy movie. I wasn't expecting it to be, I was expecting it to be pretty bad. And it was. Even Jeremy Irons can't save it.
Or Tom Baker for that matter. Although they do make their awful lines sound a lot better than they are.
