Review of Dune (2021) by Skelekey — 22 Oct 2021
Bland and boring. There are no likable Characters and thus no one I could care whether they lived or died. It's full of pomp and ceremony, showy visuals and a bombastic score, but this doesn't do much if the movie ultimately goes nowhere.
It feels like a 2 and a half hour prologue. This supposedly epic movie ends via a ho hum jobber fight. I really don't see what people see in this Oh and the gigantic sand worms don't make sense for a desert setting.
