This isn't even in the same league as David Lynch's far superior (though still flawed) adaptation. It is bland and unimaginative, with washed out colors and monochromatic palettes indicative of the lack of any "spice" of inspiration in its creation.
Most of the cast (Gurney, Piter, Yueh, and especially Kynes who is just awful) seem to just be going through the motions instead of really selling their characters. Not even worth watching on streaming let alone paying $50 to see in theaters.
