While the visuals look amazing in this movie the pacing is a huge issue. They had nearly 3 hours to set up the world and show more of certain characters. It's Honestly a slow drag, I wouldn't recommend watching it on it's own it just feels very unfinished and left off on a cliffhanger.
I would wait until the sequel is out and watch them back to back.
