Review of Dumplings (2004) by Kevin D — 20 Aug 2007
Everything about this film is worthy of 4/5 stars, well written, acted and perfectly filmed. I genuinely can't find fault with it but to be honest it bored me, I found it quite predictable, other than slight shock of the contents of the dumplings for those who hadn't immediately figured it out it was a movie about relationships and the treatment of ageing women in society.
More of a dark social commentary than a horror film.
