Review of Dumbo (1941) by Eduardo C — 11 Jan 2011
Lovable story of a freakish baby elephant who gets separated from his mom (who knows where the dad is) and shunned by the other elephants (don't believe real elephants would do that) , and thus has to suffer but is befriended by Timothy the mouse.
Legendary Pink Elephants scene is the highlight of this perfect film. It's short length (63 minutes) doesn't hurt the film. Lacks the production look of Snow White but still equals that film. And Dumbo never speaks but it takes awhile to realize that because it's such a well-developed character.
It will make you laugh and probably make you cry.
